I’m Laura!

Way back in the mid 90s, I transformed my bedroom closet into an art studio. My first stationery “company” was called Laura Co. — catchy, I know, but I think the name Open Air Paper embodies my grown-up business spirit just a little bit better.

A few of my other interests include exploring new places, hiking, kayaking, gardening, and cooking. My latest obsession is making kombucha!

I’ve been doing this for 10 years (that’s not including the studio closet phase), and many people find professional guidance to be a huge benefit when it comes to wedding invitations. I’m more than happy to share my advice and opinions throughout the process.

I know all the rules, BUT I’m not exactly a rule follower. That means I can advise you to the level of etiquette & formality that feels best for you and your event.

The best thing about running a creative business? Being creative! The design process is so much fun, and I can’t stress enough how much joy I get from bringing your vision to life.

Why choose Open Air Paper?
